The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are quintessential outdoor high-voltage protective devices, crucial for the safeguarding of electrical systems. These fuses are typically positioned on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or serve as a vital connection in distribution lines. They offer unparalleled protection from transformer and line short circuits, manage overloads, and enable open-circuit load currents. Crafted with precision, the fuses feature an insulating bracket and robust fuse tubes. The static contact is meticulously secured to both ends of the insulation bracket, while the moving contact finds its place at the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube is a marvel of engineering, consisting of an inner arc tube encased by an outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. Moreover, the pull load drop-out fuse is enhanced with flexible auxiliary contacts and a sophisticated arc chute, which together amplify operational flexibility during open-circuit or load currents.

In routine operations, the drop-out fuse remains securely in a closed position, with the fuse tube and fuse maintained under tension. In the event of a system anomaly, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, culminating in an arc. This arc subjects the arc tube to intense heat, releasing abundant gas that establishes high pressure within the tube, forming a vertical wind along the pipeline to stretch and elongate the arc. Upon the fuse's activation, the moving contact is relieved of tension, which activates the locking mechanism, releasing the fuse tube and gracefully shifting it into the breaking position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is adeptly used to disengage the moving contact, initially maintaining contact with the static contact. Persistent pulling with the insulating rod subsequently separates the auxiliary contacts. An arc materializes and elongates within the hood slit, and gas within the arc cover facilitates arc extinguishment as the current reaches zero.

Use and Standards
This product is masterfully engineered for use in 10 ~ 35KV distribution lines, branching lines, and on the primary side of distribution transformers. It offers outstanding protection against overloads and short circuits, while expertly managing the separation and combination of rated load currents.
The product model is precisely aligned with the JB/T8321-1996 standard for type AC high-voltage fuses. It is crafted in strict compliance with the GB15166.3-1994 standards for high voltage fuses. In cases where standards ambiguously define essential parameters and configurations, adjustments are made in accordance with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are indispensable outdoor high voltage protective devices. They are seamlessly integrated into the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, offering critical protection against short circuits and overloads, while efficiently managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout is composed of insulate insulator supports and a robust fuse tube, with static contacts securely affixed on both sides of the insulator support, and moving contacts strategically installed at the fuse tube ends. The architecture of the fuse tube boasts an inner arc-extinguishing tube surrounded by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is enhanced with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an advanced arc-extinguishing enclosure to skillfully manage on-off loading current.

Under standard operating conditions, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube is firmly held in a closed position. In the event of system faults, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, producing an arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube. This process releases a substantial volume of gas, creating high pressure that effectively blows the arc along the tube. Upon melting of the fuse link, the moving contact loses its tension, triggering the mechanism to lock, and the fuse tube is released, transitioning the cutout to an open position. To switch off during cutout loading, operators utilize an insulating operating bar to skillfully pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged, but further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas to efficiently extinguish the arc as the current passes zero.
