Strategically installed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or integrated within distribution lines, these fuses provide an unparalleled shield against transformer and line short circuits, while effortlessly handling overloads and managing open-circuit load currents. Engineered with precision, these devices feature a robust insulating bracket and fuse tubes; static contacts are firmly anchored on each end of the insulation bracket, while moving contacts are expertly positioned at the fuse tube's extremities. The innovative design incorporates an inner arc tube enveloped by a resilient outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. For superior operational performance, the pull load drop-out fuse is equipped with nimble auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, enhancing its versatility in managing open or co-load currents.
During standard operations, the drop-out fuse remains closed, ensuring the fuse tube and fuse are securely in place. Upon the occurrence of a system fault, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, creating an arc with intense heat. This heat generates a forceful expulsion of gas from the arc tube, increasing the pressure within the tube. A vertical airflow is initiated along the pipeline, skillfully elongating and stretching the arc. As the fuse blows, the tension within the moving contact is relieved, activating the locking mechanism and releasing the fuse tube into a break position. For load pulling, an insulating rod is employed to detach the moving contact, while initially maintaining its connection with the static contact. Continued pulling with the insulating rod causes the auxiliary contacts to separate, generating and elongating an arc within the protective hood slit. The arc cover's gas effectively aids in extinguishing the arc as the current drops to zero.

In instances where standards ambiguously define vital parameters and configurations, precise adjustments are made in alignment with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts are indispensable for outdoor high voltage protection. Seamlessly integrated into the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, they offer crucial protection against short circuits and overloads, adeptly handling on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout is characterized by insulate insulator supports and a fuse tube; static contacts are securely positioned on each side of the insulator support, while moving contacts rest at the ends of the fuse tube. The complex design of the fuse tube consists of an inner arc-extinguishing tube, enclosed by a robust outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is equipped with strong elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring proficient management of on-off loading currents.
Under routine operating conditions, the fuse link ensures that the fuse tube remains securely closed. When faults occur, fault currents rapidly melt the fuse, forming an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing substantial gas. This high pressure propels the arc along the tube's length. Once the fuse link melts, the tension in the moving contact is released, triggering the mechanism to lock, and the fuse tube drops out, transitioning the cutout to an open state. To switch off during cutout loading, operators use an insulating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged, but further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, forming an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas, ensuring the arc is extinguished as the current reaches zero.
