Introducing the drop-out fuse and load drop-out fuse, an indispensable guardian for outdoor high-voltage electrical systems. Seamlessly installed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or at pivotal junctures in a distribution line, these fuses act as vigilant protectors against short circuits and overloads, effortlessly managing current interruptions. Constructed with a robust insulating bracket and reliable fuse tubes, each static contact is securely affixed at the ends of the bracket, while the moving contact finds its place at both ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube itself is a triumph of design, featuring an inner arc tube enveloped by a resilient phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. The pull-load drop-out fuse further elevates operational efficacy with its flexible auxiliary contacts and efficient arc chute, ensuring optimal performance during current load operations.

During standard operations, the drop-out fuse maintains a poised closed position, its fuse tube held in tension. However, when a fault occurs within the system, the fuse responds instantaneously, the fault current swiftly blowing the fuse and generating an arc. This arc, a marvel of electrodynamics, ignites the arc tube, releasing a profusion of gas that creates high pressure within the tube. Such pressure propels a vertical wind through the pipeline, skillfully stretching and elongating the arc. Once the fuse blows, the moving contact loses its tension, triggering the locking mechanism to release the fuse tube, which then gracefully drops into the breaking position. When load shedding is required, an insulating rod expertly disengages the moving contact. Initially, both moving and static contacts remain engaged. As the insulating rod continues its pull, auxiliary contacts separate, allowing an arc to form between them. This arc, guided through the hood slit, is efficiently quenched as the arc cover emits gas, ensuring the arc's extinction when the current reaches zero.

This remarkable product is expertly crafted for use in 10 ~ 35KV distribution lines, branching lines, and on the primary side of distribution transformers. It offers unparalleled protection against overloads and short circuits. Furthermore, it facilitates the seamless separation and reintegration of the rated load current with utmost precision and reliability.
The product model is meticulously prepared in accordance with JB/T8321-1996, governing the design of AC high-voltage fuses. Its parameters are aligned with the rigorous standards set by GB15166.3-1994 for high voltage expulsion fuses. While these standards provide a solid foundation, critical parameters and configurations require refinement based on the interim technological requirements outlined in JB/DQ2139-1986 for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses.
The drop-out fuse cutout and load switching fuse cutout are indispensable high-voltage protective devices designed for outdoor use. These devices, when connected to the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, offer indispensable protection against short circuits and overloads, while also facilitating efficient current switching on and off. Each drop-out fuse cutout is expertly assembled with insulating supports and a robust fuse tube. The static contacts are securely anchored on either side of the insulator support, while the moving contact is strategically placed at each end of the fuse tube. At the core of the fuse tube lies an advanced arc-extinguishing tube, encased within a durable phenolic compound paper tube or an epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout further excels by incorporating enhanced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, ensuring flawless switching of loading currents.

Under standard operating conditions, the fuse link secures the fuse tube in a steadfast closed position. In the event of system faults, the resulting fault current swiftly melts the fuse, unleashing an arc. This arc energizes the arc-extinguishing tube, which then releases a substantial volume of gas, creating a high-pressure environment. This pressure effectively propels the arc along the tube. Once the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses its tensile strength, unlocking the mechanism and allowing the fuse tube to drop, transitioning the cutout to its open position. When it's necessary to switch off during a cutout load, the operator skillfully pulls the moving contact using an insulating operating bar. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain in sync. As the pull continues, the auxiliary contact separates, giving rise to an electric arc between the auxiliary contacts. This arc is efficiently lengthened within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap, where gas from the enclosure extinguishes the arc as the current crosses zero.
