The drop-out fuse and pull load drop-out fuse are indispensable outdoor high-voltage protective devices pivotal to the safety of electrical systems. Strategically installed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as an integral component within distribution lines, these fuses deliver robust protection against transformer and line short circuits, overloads, and facilitate the seamless management of open-circuit load currents. Crafted with a sophisticated design comprising an insulating bracket and fuse tubes, the static contact is securely attached to both ends of the insulation bracket, while the moving contact is precisely mounted on the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube is ingeniously constructed from an inner arc-extinguishing tube enveloped by an outer phenolic paper tube or an epoxy glass cloth tube. The pull load drop-out fuse is specially equipped with flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, significantly enhancing operational flexibility and efficiency when handling open or co-load currents.

During standard operation, the drop-out fuse remains steadfastly in a closed position, with the fuse tube and fuse firmly under tension. In the event of a system anomaly, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, igniting an electric arc. This arc heats the arc-extinguishing tube, generating copious amounts of gas, which in turn creates high pressure within the tube. This phenomenon results in a vertical wind effect along the pipeline, effectively stretching and elongating the arc for efficient extinguishment. Upon the fuse's activation, the moving contact is relieved of tension, triggering the locking mechanism to release the fuse tube, which gracefully transitions to the breaking position. To manage load pulling, an insulating rod is expertly employed to disengage the moving contact, initially maintaining contact with the static contact. Continued pulling with the insulating rod facilitates the separation of the auxiliary contacts, with an arc forming and elongating within the hood slit. The gas emitted within the arc cover plays a crucial role in extinguishing the arc as the current reaches zero, ensuring seamless operational continuity and safety.

This product is engineered with precision for application within 10 ~ 35KV distribution lines, branching lines, and on the primary side of distribution transformers. It offers exceptional protection against overloads and short circuits, while adeptly managing the separation and combination of rated load currents, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.
This product model is meticulously developed in alignment with the JB/T8321-1996 Method for type AC high-voltage fuses preparation. It adheres to the stringent requirements of the GB15166.3-1994 high voltage fuses expulsion fuses standards. In scenarios where standards present ambiguity in defining key parameters and configurations, necessary adjustments are made in accordance with JB/DQ2139-1986 requirements for 10 ~ 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses interim technology, ensuring compliance and superior performance.
Drop-out fuse cutouts and load switching fuse cutouts stand as essential outdoor high voltage protective devices. Seamlessly integrated with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or distribution lines, these devices provide indispensable protection against short circuits and overloads, adeptly managing on/off loading currents. The drop-out fuse cutout consists of insulate insulator supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts meticulously secured on both sides of the insulator support and moving contacts deftly installed at the fuse tube ends. The fuse tube’s architecture features an inner arc-extinguishing tube enveloped by an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout is equipped with enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, proficiently managing on-off loading currents with precision and reliability.

Under optimal working conditions, the fuse link ensures that the fuse tube is securely fastened in a closed position. When system faults arise, the fault current rapidly melts the fuse, generating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing substantial gas that creates high pressure to swiftly blow the arc along the tube. As the fuse link melts, the moving contact loses tension, triggering the locking mechanism, and allowing the fuse tube to drop out, effectively transitioning the cutout to an open position. To switch off during cutout loading, operators expertly utilize an insulating operating bar to pull the moving contact. Initially, the main contact and auxiliary static contact remain engaged, but further pulling disengages the auxiliary contacts, generating an electric arc that elongates within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Concurrently, the arc-extinguishing mechanism releases gas to extinguish the arc as the current passes zero, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
