Our Drop-out Fuse and Load Drop-out Fuse are cutting-edge solutions designed to ensure robust outdoor high-voltage electrical protection. These devices, meticulously crafted for installation on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or as a Support Link on distribution lines, provide essential short circuit and overload protection. Constructed with a durable insulating bracket and a high-performance fuse tube, each unit features static contacts securely installed at each end of the insulation bracket and moving contacts on the fuse tube. The fuse tube itself is a marvel of engineering, comprising an inner arc tube and an exterior made from phenolic paper or epoxy glass cloth. Our Pull Load Drop-out Fuse further enhances functionality with flexible auxiliary contacts and an arc chute, offering superior performance in opening and closing load currents.

During standard operations, the drop-out fuse remains in a closed position, maintained by the tension of the fuse tube. Upon a fault in the system, the fault current swiftly blows the fuse, creating an arc. This electrifying event activates the arc tube, releasing large volumes of gas and generating high pressure. This pressure crafts a powerful vertical wind, elongating and extinguishing the arc rapidly. Once the fuse is blown, the moving contact loses its tension, triggering the locking mechanism to release the fuse tube, thus dropping it to create an open circuit. For load operations, an insulating rod is used to manipulate the moving contact. Initially, the moving and static contacts remain engaged, but further pulling separates the auxiliary contacts, establishing an arc that is quickly managed by the arc chute. The gas within the arc cover aids in extinguishing the arc when the current reaches zero.

Our cutting-edge product is tailored for use in 10 to 35KV distribution line branching and on the primary side of distribution transformers. It offers exceptional protection against overload and short circuit conditions, ensuring reliable Separation and Combination of the rated load current.
Crafted in accordance with JB/T8321-1996 standards for AC high-voltage fuses, our product is engineered with precision to meet the stringent demands of GB15166.3-1994 standards for high voltage expulsion fuses. While these standards may not explicitly define parameters and configurations, we adhere to JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses, ensuring superior performance and reliability.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are vital outdoor high-voltage protective devices. They seamlessly connect with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, offering essential protection against short circuits, overloads, and managing on/off loading currents. Each cutout is designed with insulated support and a fuse tube, featuring static contacts affixed firmly on either side of the insulator support and moving contacts at both ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube is designed with an innovative arc-extinguishing inner tube and an outer layer made from phenolic compound paper or epoxy glass. The load switching fuse cutout boasts enforced elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure, excelling in switching on and off loading currents.

Under normal working conditions, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains securely closed. In the event of a fault, the fault current instantly melts the fuse, generating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, leading to the release of a vast amount of gas. This results in high pressure and a blow of the arc along the tube. With the fuse link melted, the moving contact loses its tension, locking the mechanism, and the fuse tube drops, transitioning the cutout to an open position. During load switching, operators use an insulating bar to maneuver the moving contact, initially maintaining contact with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact separates, an arc forms and extends within the arc-extinguishing enclosure. Meanwhile, the gas explodes to extinguish the arc as the current zeros out.
