The Pull Load Drop-out Fuse distinguishes itself with superior flexibility, incorporating auxiliary contacts and an arc chute meticulously designed for smooth current load operations.

In standard operation, the drop-out fuse maintains a steadfast closed position, with the fuse tube precisely tensioned. Upon the detection of system faults, the fault current promptly blows the fuse and initiates the arc. This dynamic arc ignites the arc tube, decomposing vast volumes of gas and generating high pressure within to create a vertical wind path that adeptly stretches and elongates the arc. As the fuse blows, the moving contact gracefully releases and rotates outward, allowing for the disengagement of the locking mechanism, leading to the fuse tube's decisive drop and breaking position. When load pulling is required, an insulating rod is utilized to draw out the moving contact while retaining connection with the static contact. Continued force application sees the auxiliary contacts separate, instigating an arc between them that extends within the hood slit. Its parameters are fully aligned with the esteemed GB15166.3-1994 standards for high voltage fuses, specifically Expulsion fuses. In cases where detailed definitions are lacking, adjustments are meticulously crafted in accordance with the JB/DQ2139-1986 interim technology requirements for 10 to 35KV outdoor high voltage drop fuses.
The Drop-out Fuse Cutout and Load Switching Fuse Cutout are premier outdoor high-voltage protective devices. Intentionally engineered to seamlessly connect with the incoming feeder of distribution transformers or lines, they play a crucial role in safeguarding transformers and lines from short circuit incidents and overload conditions while expertly managing the on/off load current. The drop-out fuse cutout comprises robust insulating insulator supports and a fuse tube, with static contacts securely affixed on both sides and moving contacts masterfully installed at the ends of the fuse tube. It features a sophisticated internal arc-extinguishing tube paired with an outer phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass tube. The load switching fuse cutout also includes enhanced, elastic auxiliary contacts and an arc-extinguishing enclosure for efficient on-off load current switching.

In typical operational scenarios, the fuse link ensures the fuse tube remains tightly closed. Upon fault encounter, the fault current swiftly melts the fuse, generating an electric arc that heats the arc-extinguishing tube, releasing substantial gas volumes and creating high pressure to elongate the arc within the tube. Post-melting, the moving contact loses tension, allowing the mechanism to unlock and the fuse tube to drop out, transitioning to an open position. For cutout load switching, operators utilize an insulating operating bar to extract the moving contact. Initially, the main contact remains engaged with the auxiliary static contact. As the auxiliary contact is further pulled, an electric arc forms between them, elongating within the arc-extinguishing enclosure gap. Simultaneously, the arc-extinguishing mechanism expels gas to efficiently extinguish the arc as the current transits through zero.
